Link-ed into ... ?!?

I wonder what does it seem to others when everybody endorses you for Employee Relations in the Link-ed-in system.....

I mean..
It's good! of cos....
Having endorsements is better than none...
But no other skills mah?

That is so sad.....

I have many friends
Yet sometimes, I have none...
or maybe, just a few
I wonder why....
Is it just me alone?
How is it that some people have so many?
How many of them will be with you at the end of the day?
Why have some disappeared?
I have no answers...

Lateness...

truth to be said, I am guilty of being late at times.
I guess, the latest I may have gotten, is half an hour??
Not withstanding the briefing session that I am supposed to attend before my trip (which I was held up by a work meeting for half an hour and thereafter, traffic jam when I was cabbing down, causing me to be late by over an hour)
But usually, I try not to be late.
If I know I am going to be late, I will cab down
And  I will notify the other party about my estimated time of arrival.

And what is the person waiting, supposed to do before your arrival?
Does the late person, at least, feel a twinge of guiltiness for making someone wait so long?
Anything over an hour is abit too much.. dun you think? I think even half an hour is bad unless there is some emergency....

I dun know who's that

Sometimes, I go into the shopping malls and see a long snaking queue or a huge crowd.
Upon going closer, I spy someone signing off on books or memorandum
I can't help but wonder to myself... "who's that?"

And I see the 'fans' buying memorandum off the rack just so that they can get the autograph and wonders..
"Are they really fans? Or are they seeing this as an opportunity?"
Opportunity to rip off some fans who are unable to make it for the autograph session or who do not know about it at all...

I watched a local drama production awhile ago.
And wondered to myself "omg! so many new faces!!"
I doubt I would recognise local artistes on the streets nowadays...

I went to the F 1 race in 5G recently and as the race cars zoom past, I can't help but think... you can't even see who are the drivers!! Basically, I guess the fans recognise them by the vehicles they drive.
I think one of the drivers came out for some photos and/or some interviews.
But I do not recognise who that was.
In fact, I dun know who are the F 1 drivers at all!! hurhur!!
I was there simply for the experience of the race. =)

I've totally and completely lost touch with the local entertainment industry.... LOL!
And I definitely do not know who are those sports people etc... =S

I wonder if that's a good or bad thing... hmmm...

Friend-ing Application in Smartphone

2 different friends of mine (who do not know each other) asked me to download and join this app Sk0ut
So I did....
After a long time...
After the 2nd friend started to tell me about it...

It is not safe for young impressionable gals to join this app
Why?
Well.... I do not buzz anyone on this app. I wait for people to buzz me.
yah, I am the hang up high type... =/  but really, i more shy lah!!
I discovered that the a number of those who buzz are
1) people from other nationalities (maybe they are more daring)
2) people who expect something more, like ons or fwb (which may not be beneficial to you)
3) people who have weird personalities
and then there are those who are already married and looking for some fun.... erhemm....

The first one is fine. Just that I really do prefer Asians...
I dun do the 2nd. Call me conservative or prudish, whatever. But this is your benefit, not really mine.
Unless I'm really desperate.... hahaha!!
But they are the ones who really know how to sweet talk and hit you in the right buttons.
So if you are those young impressionable, who haven't seen much type, well, ... you may just succumb to it...

the 3rd... they are...jus...weird..... like the one who buzz u and tell u he's very quiet... when u try to make conversation, the replies... just doesn't enable u to continue on... well... sigh.. at least u tried...
and the other one whom u ask short end questions like "hur?" "why?" "how come?" and he gets angry about the "questioning" and kicks you off the radar... major HUR?!
the 4th... sorry, not interested.....

I'm fine being friends. But please do not ask me for additional stuff... =/  >.<
And for the ones who are really looking for something more than friends but not in the ons or fwb category, please try harder....

Exercise..

ok.. so I have started on a new exercise regime...
Running for about 10-15mins, followed by a class at Phillip Wain.

The first time...
I went to the Cardio Bar dance....
I didn't know that it was a sexy dance!! OMG!! totally unprepared...
And no wonder they were wearing three quarter pants with all the stretching and stuff!
The teacher was at least abit more patient, starting off with the steps first.
But it was still tough trying to catch up.

The second time...
It was a Latin Salsa class
And the teacher sure can twist!!
He already said that he was not going to go slow, also to be fair to the rest of the students in his class I guess.
But it was quite amusing looking at how 7 students dwindled to 5 at the end.
But they were much more friendlier as compared to the Tuesday class!! :D

The third time...
Was a failure...
I changed and everything...
and discovered I had the monthly women's thing..
Sigh...
Changed back and skipped out of the place entirely.

I wanna go jogging/walking today.
Shall endeavor to go home early to do so!

Over-whelmed..

Feeling abit overwhelmed
especially when the current group I associate with seems to be high flyers..
Cannot afford that kind of lifestyle!!
but since I'm the small eater and small drinker in the group...
Treats aplenty..
